Competitors gather for the World Porridge Championships’ final year under Charlie Miller’s leadership, celebrating tradition and community through the art of perfect porridge-making.

Held annually on the third Friday, Saturday and Sunday in September at Loon Mountain Resort in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, the NH Highland Games are one of the largest and most diverse Scottish events in North America.
The games feature top Scottish bands, classic Highlander cuisine, whiskey and beer tastings, Scottish heavy athletics, sheepdog trials, youth programs, competitions for Highland dance, piping and drumming, pipe bands, fiddle and harp, and more.
